City CenterWith all different architectural styles, Cinelandia shows the old part of the city and part of the daily life of downtown Rio. It's the bohemian neighborhood of the city and entrance to the museums is free on Tuesdays. Take the “Bondinho” (the cable car) and get off wherever you like to walk the streets of Santa Teresa. You'll love the charm of this colonial part of the city. We highly recommend the Parque das Ruínas. The neighborhood also is known for its many good restaurants: Check out the restaurant Sobrenatural for fish and shellfish, the “Pastel de Camarao” (shrimp pie) is addictive!

![]() Flamengo ParkThis enormous park between the neighborhood of Flamengo and its respective beachfront was recently restored. It has soccer pitches, tennis and basketball courts, bicycle and skate paths and even yoga classes. Ask about the schedule!
![]() Sunset on Sugar LoafThis beautiful attraction is located only 10 minutes away in bus. Take the bus 511 to Urca or it's just a short walk from El Misti House Rio. The teleférico (gondola) costs R$45.00. If you have the time, walk to the top of the Urca hill and from there you just pay half to get to the second hill, Sugar Loaf. It's a pretty path between the ocean and the jungle. Difficulty level: Easy.
